Carn Bhac is a rounded mountain, lying to the south-west of Inverey at the southern edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Although relatively easy to climb, the route from Glen Ey is lengthy, deterring many walkers from attempting it.

Features of the area

Aberdeenshire Group

Aberdeenshire is one of Scotland’s 32 unitary council areas. Although its headquarters are based in Aberdeen, the council area does not include the city itself.

Aberdeenshire borders Angus and Perth and Kinross to the south, and the Highland council area and Moray to the west.
