I lived in England for a while and met all these great Scots who all convinced me to go and see Bonnie Scotland before I had to return to Denmark. Only regret I have is that I didn't go there before...I was crying when I left the Highlands, never in my life have I seen anything as beautifull and i know for sure that when i graduate in 2 years time, that's where I'm gonna be...

When i returned to Denmark I went to see my granddad who told me he used to be a soldier in London and Scotland ( first time he ever told me he was in the army!). He showed me all these photo from Scotlandf rom the exact same place's I been, just 60 years before me.
He also told me he was in the movie Bonnie Prince Charles. Unfortunally my Grand dad passed away 2 months ago and I have since then tried to get a hold of the movie, but with no luck
.
So if anyone knows where and how, I will be the happiest person on earth...Well at least till I can once again go the highlands...

i think the movie you refer to was made in the 50's and starred david niven as the prince .I hope this helps and scotland is beautiful

Hello Charlotte. What a wonderful week-end all Melbourne had watching the Royal Wedding.
I also love Scotland and have just returned from there. My grandfather came from Glasgow. Hope you find the film you require. Kind regards, Cath

John Atkinson from Glasgow. Posted 4 Apr 2005.
Hi Charlotte, the film you seek is the Sir David Niven one, Bonnie Prince Charlie. May I suggest that the next time you visit this bonnie land, please venture to Culloden and feel what I felt. A strange atmosphere where you feel belonging.
All the best, John Atkinson.
