I used to live in Glasgow. As a young girl I used to go to Largs quite a lot. I haven't been to the town for about 30 years. I remember Nardinis of course, the Moorings Dance and Dinner Rooms and the theatre called Barrfields Pavilion (I know there is already a post on the theatre). I understand it is now part of a new visitor attraction call Vikinger. What changes have been made to the pavilion itself. Is the gallery still there?

Hi, its been at least seven years since I was last in Largs, but it was to attend a school reunion which we held at the barrfields pavilion (Vikingar)The actual building has been extended out the front and we used a large room upstairs which overlooks the old Barrfields theatre through a glass screen. Apart from that nothing much else appeared to have changed. There is a small Viking museum inside too. Hope this is of some help to you. I remember being taken to many a summer show there with my parents. Cheers, Don

The large room used to be the gallery seating level and is now a projection room I believe.
Is this correct?

What is the large screened room used for?
