Barrfields Largs

Does anyone have any memories of the Barrfields Pavilion largs?

Oh yes. Largs was the place to go in the summer. And the Barrfields Theatre was the seasode venue. I remember seeing Rikki Fulton and Jack Milroy there in the sixties. Does anyone know if the building still exists?

Yes - its still here but now called the Vikingar. It still houses the theatre and the swimming pool and gym are also there. The putting green is still in front of the building. Its been all done up in recent years and looks great - restored to its former glory.

Eleanor, It has entertainment all through the year now - various artists for all tastes.

I am a member of the Largs Gaelic Choir and we had our 25th Anniversary Celebration and it was a very good night and remember it always.
