Posted 15 Feb 2003. i think my fondest moment was watching Mary Poppins in the Odeon Theatre in Ayr, that is a long time ago, when it was in Burns Statue Square. After I had sen it about 6 times, I saved enough money from my birthday presents to treat my parents to a showing of Mary Poppins. Jings I felt like million quid, me takin' my Ma and my Pa tae the movies. veronica hann from australia. Posted 19 Feb 2004. I also remember watching Mary Poppins in the Odeon Theatre in Perth. That same theatre was used on saturday mormings for the GB club. 6d to get in to watch cartoons and the main feature. It was only for kids and I can't remember ever seeing any adults in there.
