My father had a garage near Perth and half was taken over by the Army,and two rooms in our house was used as billets for the troops. One room slept 6 and the other 3

Hi mate, Do you know what regiment it was that was in perth? My grandfather was there early-mid 1942 with the Royal Atillery but I dont know what unit he served with and I have no Army number to trace his steps. He was from Easington, Sunderland, and married June 42 but was back in england by early 43.
Any info would be a big help .. Ta muchly
