Old TImes in the Gorbals There are 2 messages in this section. Gerry Kane from Glasgow. Posted 10 Feb 2006. I like to think that the time I had in the Gorbals was the best I had. I stayed in Hallside street untill 1956. We then had to move out to Drumchapel - all that open space and all that green stuff on the ground! A good time was had by all. I am looking for descendants or ancestors of Gerald Kane who was born in Clydebank Glasgow Scotland in 1935 He died a few years back of cancer and his daughter who I am her cousin is desperate to find relatives would you be a relative of this family and if so could you please contact me.
