Unemployment |  | The figures in the graph below represent the unemployment claimant count carried out by the Office of National Statistics (ONS). It excludes claimants on government training schemes and a small number of other claimants who are not regarded as being available for unemployment, i.e. adult students and people temporarily stopped from employment.
