Hi, I'm Andy, I'm 23 years old and I live in a council flat - it's not in a great part of town. But, it's my own place, - you see I was desperate to leave home what with my folks shouting and bawling at me all the time.

School? Well I wasnae very good at it, so I didn't get any qualifications. The best thing about school was the football - I loved that.

I did try to get a job when I left school but it was just casual work - not a lot of money in that.
I was better off on benefits.

But what I'd really love to do - my dream job - would be to work with cars, you know, get a job as a mechanic. It's a bit difficult to get out to work though, cos I've got ma wee boy.
My girlfriend - ach, she's long gone, so it's a bit of a struggle coping and that.
