Harry's Story

A brave young man who gave his life for his country

My grandfather lost his life aged 25 just 8 months before the end of hostilities. A brave young man who gave his life for his country, he left behind a 2 year old son who he only saw briefly in 1916 and a young grieving widow. He has no known grave but his name appears on the Arras Memorial.
