Born July 14th 1890 in Sydney, Australia.

Son of Edwin and Edith Charlotte Anderson.

Family lived in Australia for first eleven years of his life.

He was known as 'Fred', which was his middle name.
Educated at Christ's Hospital public school,West Horsham, Sussex.
Promoted to 2nd Lieutenant, 4th battalion, Machine gun corps, North Staffordshire regiment on 31st March 1915
Was in the 8th Canadian battalion prior to conscription.

Died of wounds received in battle, Belgium, 2nd November, 1918
- Nine days before the Armistice.

Buried in Sweveghem churchyard, (Row C, Grave 1).
Four miles east of Courtrai, Belgium.
