Richard's Story
Richard was my great grandad and died the year I was born. He was a cloth padder and before the war, travelled to Germany for a trade delegation. He signed up for the war with his brother-in-law without telling their wives.
The brother in law in question is my great great grandfather he definetely went to the Manchester regiment with his brother and lived in Cheshire I have a picture of them at my Grandfather's house.
