David James's Story

My father remembers waving him off on the coach as he left Pontypridd as he went off to war, he seemed happy to be going, but quite obviously he didn't realise the consequences. He was brought up by his aunt and uncle because his mother died shortly after his birth. Also, he worked in a grocers shop in Pontypridd.
