Sidney James's Story

Served in India, at the North West Frontier, and in Mesepotamia with the Territorial Army from 1914 onwards. Apparently one of the stories was that the advanced guard sometimes shot a bear and stood it up with a pole to frighten the rest of the army coming up.

Sidney also served with rocket battery during the second World war.
