William John's Story
William Hamilton was my fathers brother, born in Castlederg Tyrone NI 1898 we dont know very much about William, he served with The 150th Machine Gun Corp, we have his medels and plaque. He died on the 8th November 1916. He has no grave but his name appears on the Thiepval Memorial. He was so very young when he was killed just 18, like so many young men gave their lives so we could be free.
