Jesse's Story
Captured at Ypres. Shot in both ankles.
Captured 8th May 1915. Captured at Ypres. Shot in both ankles. Was in trenches for 56 hours before capture. Captured, taken to field hospital Essington. Stayed there for two day and then sent to Lazarette at Hanover, Germany. Was discharged from hospital. Repatriated to the 2nd Eastern General hospital, Brighton in 1916.
