Arthur's Story

Private Arthur Westwood, of the 2nd Salford Pals (16th Lancashire Fusiliers), born Hulme 1882, enlisted Manchester. Worked for Barlow & Jones in Manchester.

Killed in action at Savy Wood, Flanders, on the 1st April 1917, shot by Sniper.

Buried at the British Savy Cemetery, France.

Left behind a Wife - Lucy, and two children - Arthur & Lucy.
