William (Billy)'s Story

Billy Marriott served as a private in the 11th Battalion Notts and Derby Sherwood Foresters. He died in 1939 as a result of wounds sustained in the war. His brother, Henry also of the Sherwood Foresters died at home in 1917 as a result of wounds. Their Mother was Jane Disney, he was unmarried.
