Robert's Story

My grandfather was a member of the 36th Ulster Division attached to the 109th Field Ambulance. He received a military medal on 2 June 1918. His army number was M2/100199. The date of entry to the war was 2 October 1915 and he was sent to France.

He received the Victory medal and the British medal under the Royal Army Service Corps, and the 14/15 Star.

My grandfather left military service on 10 March 1919.
