Richard James's Story
My Great Uncle enlisted in the Buffs 15th May 1900. For 18years he served in Australia, South Africa, then joined WW1 September France 1914 POW in October 1914 until 1918 at Gottengen Camp where he worked in the Salt mines which affected his lungs. He was sent to Switzerland to recover but died at the age of 41.
