Thomas's Story
Thomas Whitehead was my Great Uncle, who died on 3 May 1917 and is remembered with honour at Arras Memorial. He was one of four brothers, I have discovered records of his brother, who also died in the great war Rueben, who died 16
October 1914 and is remembered at Les Gonards Cemetery, Versailles. He lived at Lashes Cottages, Crockenhill, Kent, his mother my Great Grandmother was Mrs Etty Whitehead. Unfortunately, I haven't any photos of him.
