Thomas James's Story

My great uncle Tom was killed in action on 15th October 1916 at the Battle of the Somme. He was with the 2nd Royal Hampshire Regiment. His brother William (Bill) was also in WW1 but survived. My Father uncovered some of his effects recently. These included a couple of letters home to his family, his medals and his paybook, (still covered in dried mud).
