William Charles OVENDEN was my Uncle as was Henry Frederick BARTHOLOMEW also remembered on the Wall of Remembrance.
The letter in the picture file was written by George, William's Brother who survived the First World War.
The letter was written to my Aunt Grace explaining how Will was killed.
Also attached is a receipt paid for by my Grandfather to have extra letters engraved on his dead son's memorial. The last picture is of Will's medals.
