Robert's Story
I only have one picture of my brave grandfather who was listed as missing in action at Delville Wood on 7 August 1916 during the Somme. He has no known grave and is commemorated at Thiepval. I wish I knew more about him, as sadly my father passed away in 1996 aged 90 almost 80 years to the day his father was killed. I am 40 years old and wished I had asked more.
