Harry James's Story
Harry Brown was born Earls Barton Northants. His civilian profession was in the Boot and shoe industry. Harry enlisted into the Northamptonshire Regiment but was discharged on medical grounds having suffered from chronic bronchitis for five years previous. He rejoined and survived the war. He died Ashfield Rd Wellingborough on the 29/11/1934

'...taken a Turkish princess palace and i am as you see in a white suit and am very busy. I can tell we are all here resting after coming back from the line and we are enjoying ourselves with the well earnt rest we have got.
