Owen's Story
Died at the Somme age 39 left 8 chilldren
Other memories
Owen was 40 when he died. Came from near Tempo county Fermanagh. Great book about Ulster regiments at the Somme called Fr. William Doyle.
In a letter home Owen mentions a friend James Carrigan.

My great uncle L/Cpl Joseph Langtry was in same regiment.
He joined in Glasgow. He died 23 Mar 1918 with wounds.
Remembered at St Souplet British Cemetry.
