Charles's Story

Charles Kerchey is listed on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission site. Buried at the Cambrin Military Cemetery. He was my grandmother's youngest brother and he died at the age of 20. His date of death being 11 November 1918. Lost to his family on the last day of the Great War. My grandmother always has a large framed photograph of him on her wall. She was always saddened that he nearly came home.
