Henry's Story
Rifleman Henry Bracken died 10th June 1915. Henry was the 9th child, and second son, of Henry and Hannah Bracken. Henry (Snr) was a gamekeeper at Deer Park, Sligo, Ireland. He also lost three other cousins, all brothers, who died in March, August and September of 1918 in northern France. They were survived by their only sibling, a sister who was 31 when they were killed.
