Willy's Story
I am Willy Thompson's great niece, (my maternal grandmother's brother) I never knew him but I have inherited all the memorabilia relating to him and his death, even his dog tags. I did not pay much attention when I was young but of course now I realise how important it all is. It is sad to think that I am probably the only person alive who thinks of him. He also served in the Imperial Yeomanry in the South African War. He died at Boulogne from wounds received at Looo.
