Joseph's Story
I never knew my great grandad only what ive been told by the famliy.
He died on christmas day 1916 at gallipoli leaveing behind my greatgrandma and three young sons the youngist was my grandad who was just a yr old every one in my famliy say that when gtgreadma was told the news of his death she went blind with the shock.She never got over loseing him.And my grandad would say though he never knew his dad he felt like he did as his mum never stop talking about him. ww1 ripted the hart out of so many famliys we must never forget.
