Michael's Story
So little is known.
My family has served in the British armed forces for generations. One of the most remarkable stories I have is of my Great Grandfather who served with the 8th Battalion of The City of London Post Office Rifles. He was known to have been at The Somme. Remarkably he survived although suffered the loss of his ears through frost bite.
