Robert's Story
Found your death recorded in Norwich castle grandad, didn't know you died during the first world war. Feel very proud of you leaving your family to fight in such unspeakable conditions, never to return to your loved ones, but fell at the Somme, dying on the 16th October 1916.
My great grandfather died fighting for king, country and freedom
May you rest in peace and be remembered by me as a hero.
