Thomas Herbert's Story

I have no memories of Thomas Herbert, Bert as he was known to the family.

I have only the memories passed to me by my Grandfather. He was Thomas Herberts's younger brother. Thomas Herbert Potter 18253 King's Own Scottish Borderers. Kosbies as Grandad called them.Killed in action 1st October 1918. Shot by a sniper. Can be found on th Commonwealth War Graves Commission website.
