Charles Bennett Ward's Story
He was a "Lion", no "donkeys" in the Ward family !!!
Sadly no memories, Charles Bennet Ward died 21.5.1915 aged 21 years,he was our Mothers maternal uncle, he is buried in Helles Turkey and remembered on the war memorial and in the church in Hadleigh Suffolk. We discovered this when we were researching our family tree.. Our Mother died (1948) of her injuries sustained during WW2 "If only" we had asked !!!
