Renwick's Story
Renwick was killed by 'friendly fire' after surviving nearly 6 weeks in the line.
Did not need to be there
His younger brother had the traumatic experience of being in the same battalion and taking part in his burial.
The only remembrance now is on a plaque on the side of a disused church in Dysart, Fife.

He is burried at Gorre British and Indian Cemetery
