Turnbull John's Story

Born: 22nd January 1888 at 11:20am at 21 Buccleugh Place, St Giles Parish, Edinburgh

Eldest brother to die

Married: 24th April 1914 at 29 Drummond Place, Edinburgh, whilst working as Grocers Assistant to Christina Duff Flockhart (Golf Ball maker) and living at 43a Great Kings Street, Edinburgh. Both brides parents deceased. Wife died 22/08/16 aged 22 from TB and meningitis

Enlisted into 18th battalion HLI serial number 28210.

Died: 25/08/17 aged 29years
