Gordon William's Story

Gassed

I don't really remember my granddad. He died when I was 11 year old. I used to visit him in a nursing home with my Mum. Apparently he was never the same after being gassed during WWI. I wish I had known him better. I wish I could have talked to him about his experiences. He survived a human catastrophe, and had he been one of the unlucky casualties - I would not be here today.
