Percy's Story

My Great-Aunt Emily (nee Blackmore) with her husband Private Percy Challinor (9th Batt Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers) during leave in approx. 1915.

Percy was killed on 7th June 1917 & is buried in the Irish House Cemetery leaving Emily & their 9 month old daughter Ellen Lavinia (known as Queenie).
