Frederick William's Story

Frederick William Whitehouse was called up at the age of 38 during the last months of the war, he joined the 10th Battalion Royal Fusiliers number 87319. He joined in May 1918 and completed a period of training and was then drafted to the Western Front in October 1918 where on the 18th October he was severely wounded at Le Cateau and shortly afterwards died. He is burried in Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille, and he left behind a wife and four small children. I am his grandaughter and I am sorry I never new him.
