Frederick's Story

I know Pop was in action in France and that he was gassed - which left him with a husky voice and stomach problems.

My Grandfather was always known as 'Pop' - I don't know why

He also served in Russia on the side of the 'White Russians' - I never understood what British troops were doing in Russia.
