John's Story

My Gran's Uncle died in May 1917 on the Invincible during the Battle of Jutland. His brother died in September 1917 at the Somme and their mother died before my Gran was born, of a broken heart never having come to terms with their deaths.

John is the first named on the Lochgelly memorial - GNR John Clark, Invincible.
