Percival's Story

i am remering my grandfather captain percival maurice sharp he was born in 1894 he was in the 10 th royal fuselliers he was a captain he fought at the somme he was injured in the battle near a town called poziers he was a good office he was awared the 1914- 1918 medal he was in france for long periods in the war after his injurury he went back to england then he went back to france he stayed in france till the armstic he had a desk job in world war 2 he went to russia in 1919-1920 during the russian troubles after the war he worked for coutts the bankers he later became a church of england preist lived in rochester in kent with his wife joan sharp he died in 1978 aged 84
