Frank's Story

I am Frank's grandson.

Frank was married to Ivy Winifred Jacobs (nee Clark) and had 2 children, Ronald Frank and Eileen Brenda, neither of whom knew their father as they were too young when he died. He died of wounds in Fort Pitt Hospital in Chatham/Rochester, Kent in August 1919 and is buried in a war grave in Faversham Borough Cemetery, Faversham, Kent. He was 27. Before the war he had been a very keen sportsman, winning many cups and medals for football and goal-running (a very popular sport in east Kent in those days).
