Frank's Story
Flight Sergeant Frank Allsopp was Killed while flying 23
To the Uncle I never met but wished I could have
July 1918 aged 19, He was a passenger on D.H.9 C1321, flown by Lt R B Slade,
which crashed whilst at No.9 Training Depot Station, Shawbury. Aircraft
crashed after leading edge of tail plane failed pulling out of a dive when on
a test flight
