George's Story

I have only just found my Great Uncle George Butler , who was a Private with the 7th Bn The Buffs (East Kent Regt) , He was killed in action on the 1st October 1918.

I shall be going to France soon to visit the cemetery where he is buried for the first time to represent my family at his graveside.

I feel very honoured to have a member of my family give his life to protect his family and country.

And he will always be remembered, This Rememberance week is so special to me now, knowing that my Great uncle was lost 90 Years ago .
