Henry's Story
Henry was just 19 when he arrived in France on 15 Jul 1915. He fought in the Battle of the Somme and lost a leg. He was invalided out of the army and was eventually given an artificial leg. He received the 1915 Star, the British War Medal and the Victory Medal.
