Sidney's Story
Those that were called up at the end of the war, and who served in the Rhineland are often forgotten. Thank God my grandfather did not fight in France, but he was sent to Cologne as part of the occupation force.
Occupation of the Rhineland
Called up August 1918 to the South Beds.
He also served in the RAF in WWII as a bomb loader in Norfolk, called up in 1943.
