Walter's Story

My grandfather was wounded in the Defence of Givenchy on the 21st Dec 1914.

He was repatriated home to a hospital in Cambridge where he died of his wounds on 07/01/1915.

He is buried in the churchyard of St Mary's Church,Bletchley, Bucks.

The church built a shed to house a motor mower on his grave, this is now derelict and filled with rubbish. Many times over the years the family has tried to get this shed removed without success.
