Albert H's Story

I researched the events of my Great Uncle, surrounding his death and the only notice in 6th Bn records indicate that he was wounded by bombs from a German aircraft which attacked the transport section to which he was attached. It records that 7 mules and 3 other ranks were killed or wounded, I found it absolutely horrifying that it was worded in such a way that the animals seemed more important, which is why I want especially for him to be remembered. He succumbed to his wounds and is buried at Locre Hospice Cemetary.
