Albert Edward's Story

My great uncle Albert Edward Thompson, a veteran of the Boer War, helped set up The Cardiff Pals in 1914. He went to Seaford where the company were being trained but on the 17/5/1915 was hit by a car on the road from Seaford station to the barracks. He died the next day of internal injuries. ...The Cardiff Pals ended up in Macedonia where many were killed or died of frost bite.
